GET AROUND TO IT!

Guess. Freakin. What.

On the evening of Thursday March 21, we will be gathering at HONKYTONKS (last minute venue change in case of rain) to ride on the coat tails of You Are Here Festival event 'Literally Too Many DJs' (see details here: http://youareherecanberra.com.au/events/flagship-event/literally-too-many-djs/) and persuade people we've never met to dance with us in public.

At some point between 9pm and 9:20pm, NLNL volunteers will survey the area. If no one's dancing, we will declare an official state of emergency, blow our state-issued dance police whistles and force everyone within herding distance to commandeer the dance floor, shake it like a polaroid picture and give an unsuspecting DJ a night they'll never forget.

If the dance floor is looking healthy, we're still going to commandeer it; it will just be less obvious -  and a marginally less exciting story to tell your friends.

COME ANYWAY! IT'S GOOD EXERCISE AND VERY VERY MUCH FUN!

As if that wasn't enough ballyhoo for one week, we're also taking over the Fletcher Jones shopfront (corner of London Circuit and Northbourne Avenue) at 9pm on Friday March 22 and pumping out some wildly dorky dance hits so you can get good and jiggy widdit.

AND THEN!
Tuesday the 26th is NINETY MINUTES OF NINETIES! That's right. We're going back to a time when Callan Mulvey was blu-tacked to the inside of one-in-four high school lockers, when owning a pencil case purchased from somewhere other than the body shop was social suicide. You heard it here first: Backstreet is Back.
