WE WANT YOU!

Jiggly jivers,

Get your diaries out and prepare to fill them chock-a-block with loads of special shake-ya-cake dates! Here is a snapshot of some hot happenings throughout Feb/March:

  • FEB 19: FUNKY FLICKS! DJ Greshman mixes all the best bits from your favourite movie soundtracks into a sensational silver-screen soup! Don your finest tracky dacks and walk the red crappet (a red carpet made from crepe paper). Paparazzi presence more than likely.

  • FEB 26: BIRTHDAY GIRL BONANZA! Loveable Lady Lisa gets to play whatever the hell she wants cos it's her FREAKIN' birthday... and we all have to do whatever she says.

  • MARCH 5: ON-THE-SPOT PLAYLIST! We're living right on the edge, just like Meryl Streep in Postcards from the Edge. Be one of the first 20 punters to rock up and add your request to the playlist; the end result will be a collaborative cocktail of all your favourite tunes! Requests must be danceable. We love Radiohead too, but if you request Paranoid Android we'll just pretend we don't have it.

  • MARCH 12: NLNL business as usual. Shake yo thang.

  • MARCH 16: LITTE NO LIGHTS! We team up with You Are Here Festival, to bring all the fun of NLNL to the little people in your life. Kid-friendly tunes in a kid-friendly time slot.   • MARCH 19: regular NLNL. Boogie-oogie.

  • TWO SECRET DATES IN MARCH: POP-UP DANCE PARTIES! That's right, we're getting our flash mob on. Register your interest to participate by writing to nlnlcanberra@gmail.com, await notification of venue (we can reveal that it is somewhere in the CBD), date, time and secret signal. Rock up on the day to shock the pants off the public.  


  • MARCH 26: NLNL THEME TEAM ARE AT IT AGAIN! Send your requests for a theme night to nlnlcanberra@gmail.com and stay tuned!

  • SOME POINT IN THE NOT-SO-DISTANT FUTURE: NLNL AUTUMN PICNIC! An outdoor boogie with nibbles. Not to be confused with an outdoor nibbling of boogies.
