Love is:
A.) a stranger
B.) a battelefield
C.) sharing a sweaty dancefloor with forty-plus strangers!

Praise be to Chiara the master of catharsis for her incredi-bubble playlist last night; we swatt 'til we could sweat no mo! Some of our boogiers have requested the secret ingredients to her ingenious concoction of tunes - HERE IT BE:

4) Bottle Rocket – Go! Team

5) I Don’t Believe You – Thermals

6) The Safety Dance – Men Without Hats

7) 10 Dollar – M.I.A

8) Pump it Up – Elvis Costello & The Attractions

9) Cars – Gary Numan

10) Losing You – Solange

11) Everyday I Love You Less & Less – Kaiser Chiefs

12) Romance – Wild Flag

17) Echoes – The Rapture

18) The Honeymoon Is Over – The Cruel Sea

19) Devils Haircut – Beck

20) Hong Kong Garden – Siousxsie & The Banshees

21) Disco 2000 – Pulp

22) Holy Roller – Thao

23) Cut Your Hair – Pavement

ALSO! Coming up next week is our ladylist - 90 minutes of tunes by female artists who rock our socks aaaaall the way off, put together by none other than NLNL regular and dancefloor demon Caitlin. Come and join us from 7:45 on 25 February for some luscious locomotion!

It goes without saying that gents are, as ever, so much more than welcome.

Don't forget to keep an eye out on our blog and at www.youareherecanberra.com for details of our uber special events as part of the upcoming You Are Here Festival.

A very very gentle reminder that you, your groove thang, your friends, your singing voice and your invisible grin should all make themselves right at home on our dancefloor - but in the interests of maximum enjoyment/lost-in-the-moment-ness, your fellow dancers would love it if your phones stayed under cover of darkness/in your bag. If you're trying to find a friend - they're probably quite happy having a solo boogie in the roomy bit near the entrance while their eyes adjust.

See ya soon sweaty spunkrats. You all rock. A lot.
